Is Santa Claus truly real?  Eight-year-old Virginia O’Hanlon wrote a letter to the editor of the New York Sun, asking this question. The quick response of veteran newsman Francis Church became history’s most reprinted newspaper article. His eloquent answer stands as a light in the darkness of doubt, and restores the joy of believing.
