The Three Little Pigs

This is the classic story of the importance of being prepared and thinking ahead.  In this story, a bad wolf huffs and he puffs and he blows the little pigs houses down, all except the smart little pig who is a wise builder and a clever planner.  He won’t be caught…not by hair of his chinny chin chin!

The Story Home App Announcement

The Story Home App is almost here!  We are thrilled to share this special news.

The App will be available on on itunes in the App/Book/Education Categories for your iPhone, iTouch and iPad. Also, there will be, in the near future, a special link placed The Story Home  home page.

You will notice that the stories will sound better (we’ve remastered each of our 75 stories) and we are adding sound effects to many of the stories such as Cinderella , Jack in the Beanstalk, and Pegasus and the Magic Stone.  Wait until you hear the Jack’s Giant say “Fee Fi Fo Fum”.  You’ll think he’s standing right behind you!

The app is currently nearing the end of the design stage; testing and reviewing will start soon.

We will keep you posted, until then, we wish you a fond farewell…

The Queen Bee plus The Bee and Jupiter

Here are two fine old tales about a Queen Bee.  The Brothers Grimm tell of a young simple boy, who in his travels, spares the lives of nature’s smaller creatures.  One of his rewards, comes from a winged Queen who helps him undo a magical spell.  Aesop, on the other hand, tells of Jupiter’s punishment of a Queen bee that wished for evil, and was stung by justice.  We are sure these two stories will keep you buzzing.
