A magical Christmas poem written long ago by Clement C. Moore captured the magic of a holiday all children hold dear.  Not only are the names of Santa’s reindeer mentioned, but Santa himself is described in a robust and jolly way.  With visions of sugar plums we dedicate this old favorite to the believers, wherever they may be!  (Special Note:  In the spirit of holiday giving, we will be offering one story per week during the month of December).

Della and Jim were poor, yet happily in love.  On the day before Christmas, with little money saved, each found a secret way to afford a very special gift for the other.  For them, to give was more important than to receive, as we shall hear.
